Circulation Policies and Procedures

Students in kindergarten through grade five have regularly scheduled classes.  Students have book circulation about every two weeks.

Library Classes

Library activities at the primary level include read aloud and book circulation.  Informal instruction is provided within these activites.  At the intermediate level activities include library location skills instruction and book circulation.   In the sixth grade library classes students learn to use NoodleTools, a online bibliographic tool, research skills, and the library's online subscription databases. They also have an opportunity for book circulation.

Library Schedule

Students in kindergarten through grade six visit the library on a fixed schedule.  Students in grades six, seven, and eight visit the library on a flexible schedule arranged by the teachers and librarians.

Library Computer Use Guidelines

The computers in the library are to be used for school research projects.
